Introduction

The Metro South Junior Football League is an incorporated association, base in Adelaide, South Australia. The League was established in late October 1997 with games starting late March 1998 to promote Australian Rules Football for junior players in the inner southern metropolitan are of Adelaide.

In 2003 the  League affiliated with the South Australian Nation Football League (SANFL).

A Sunday home and away competition is operated by the League, this competition caters for junior players in nine (9) grades, Under 8 through to and including Under 16.


This site provides parents and players with details about the League and its clubs. It also provides details about League activities and events.

Objectives

The objectives of the League are to:

    
 promote, organise and foster the playing of the game of Australian Rule Football through a junior competition in Adelaide.

      promote the development of a healthy character and instil a sense of fair play in the best traditions of true sportsmanship.

      promote healthy, competitive recreation for junior players of both sexes.

      as set out in the Constitution and Rules of the League. 


Meetings

Delegates Committee Meetings are held on the last Wednesday of the month and are held at Mitchell Park Sports and Community Club, Moreland Avenue, Mitchell Park, commencing at 7.30pm.

The League's Annual General Meeting is held on the last Wednesday in November each year at Mitchell Park Sports and Community Club, Moreland Avenue, Mitchell Park, commencing at 7.30pm.
